At the initial report, at least five (5) people were reported killed while several others were injured in an accident including a dump truck carrying a soil that went out of control and hit a tricycle before crashing into the police outpost in Tikling, Taytay, Rizal this Thursday noon.
According to Sam Nielsen's report of DZBB, the incident happened at Dolores, Tikling, Taytay in the province of Rizal.
The rescuers had to use a hydraulic cutter to pull out some of the victims' bodies that were buried in soil carried by the dump truck.
According to Lester Martinez, a Dolores village councilor, "May nasaktan, initially isang tricycle ng estudyante, mga kabataan, papasok sa Taytay Elementary School, nahagip ng trak bago siya nabangga sa outpost. And he also said that the tricycle was overloaded with at least 16 students.
