FX Driver as a Good Example

These days, I seldom see a person with kind heart.  Most of the people today have "this is mine" "all mine" mentality!  This maybe because of poverty and economic crisis afflicting our country.  Only few will return the item they accidentally picked up to the real owner.  And this is why I salute this FX Driver with PKP400 plate, Quiapo-Megamall-Pasig route.

FX is our daily transport to work.  And last Wednesday night as we rode the FX going home, the driver asked us if we have a Cherry Mobile phone.   We asked him why?  And he said that someone had left a mobile phone on his fx and the (might be) owner of that phone is now calling and he didn't know how to open it.  My husband tried to unlock the said phone, and voila, he unlocked it!

To make the story more shorter :D, the driver asked his fellow drivers through the radio to send him load for him to be able to call the owner.  But his co-drivers said just wait for the owner to call.  So that's the story, the owner and the driver talked where they could meet up.

If you were in his position, will you return the phone or just keep it???? Well your conscience will tell you.

Earth Hour 2011

Every year we are supporting the celebration of Earth Hour here in the Philippines, and this year is our fourth.  With this,  I am encouraging each and everyone of us to once again support the said event.  There will be a Ceremonial Countdown to be held in Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City on March 26, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Remembering my Father

Birthdays, anniversaries, dining at small carinderia, watching movies during payday and visiting our relatives (father side) during holiday seasons. Those chocolates, yakults, hotdogs and more.  Those are my childhood memories that makes me happy and sad at the same time.  Those are the memories spent with my father.

I missed my father so much and I am sure my sister too.  We've spent only a little quality time together before his rest in peace.  Those precious moments that won’t be forgotten by his daughters.

Passport Application

It's because of our company's proposed outing at Hongkong that drive us to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and apply for a passport.  Of course every one of us are very excited, it's not just an out of town experience to be but out of the country!

First we set our application schedule here at E-Passport.

March 9, 2011, 10:30 am was our scheduled appointment. I must say that I am satisfied with their service. Though there are lots of people there querying for their application, still they served us fast. Yes, it's true that the line was too long, but it's moving fast and so we've finished it at only an hour, from the gate to the cashier; I think it is Step 1 and 2.  It only slows down on the verification and image capture, coz it was their lunch break.
