Purple Crab Species discovered in Palawan, Philippines

A rare new species of purple crabs were recently found in Palawan, which are now said to be being threatened by various mining activities in the said region.

The four new crab species, which includes Insulamon Palawanense, were found by scientists at the Senckenberg Research Institute in Germany and De La Salle University in Manila. According to the report, which was also described in the study published in the journal Raffles Bulletin of Zoology last February, the new purple crab species were spotted in as part of their Aqua Palawana research program.

My Blog's 1st Anniversary!

It was just yesterday when I started blogging and today, my blog is one (1) year older.  Time really run fast!  I love my experiences as a blogger.  I think it helps me socialize with other people.  I was able to meet new people, new friends and was able to attend various events and more that I can't imagine I can do if I am not a blogger.  And also, I learned that blogging is related to showbizness, ang daming issues and intrigues.  However, I still love the blogging world.  In a short word, blogging makes me come out of my shell. :)

I wanted to host a giveaway for my 1st blogoversary, but I am lacking time to prepare it and also I dunno what to give :D  Anyways, maybe I could host it at a later time.

Puerto Galera for the second time

After our church obligation, hubby and I started our long journey from Cavite to Alabang. We rode on Alps bus and traveled for almost 2 1/2 hours from Alabang to Batangas Port.  My body and mind was so tired, but I still can't deny the excitement I'm feeling inside, naks!  Since it's not my hobby to sleep while on travel, I grabbed hubby's phone and took some photos.
