Many people would recognized her as Duday (like I recognized her) in the TV sitcom Daddy
Di Du Do, with comedian and TV host Vic Sotto. Her charming portrayal of her role easily captured
the hearts and imagination of the show’s followers including me. :)

With her innate talent not only in acting but also in music,
former child actress ISABEL DE LEON is carving out a niche for herself.
For her, acting had always been her childhood dream. And although it was only in Daddy Di Du Do that the public really took notice of her, Isabella’s talent for acting has already been noted by critics when she won five major acting awards in 2004 for her role in the internationally acclaimed movie Magnifico, where she played Helen, a seven-year-old girl with cerebral palsy.
Her acting career starts when she was chosen to play one of the main characters in Munting Anghel out of 200 kids who auditioned. It was her very first audition
for a role in GMA 7.
After Munting Anghel, Isabella also acted in TV shows like Love
to Love, Mulawin, Fantastikids, Mga Mata ni Anghelita, Nasaan Ka Eliza. She was also seen in movies such as Bahay ni Lola, Super-B,
Sanib, Padre de Pamilya, Litsonero and Soliloquy.
As an actress she idolizes Johnny Depp, Cate Blanchett, Jodi Sta. Maria, Amy Austria, and Johnny Delgado “because they're really good at portraying reality,” she said.

At 18, she confessed that being in show business “has its
rewards, but to keep up with the business, it involves a lot of patience and
hard work.”
And just recently, Isabel just signed a contract with record
label PolyEast as she explores her passion for music with her debut album
tentatively called The Love Project. That album contains an all-original music showcasing her talent in composing and
song-writing. The album is scheduled to be released by first quarter of
2013.
Isabel can play several musical instruments like the drums,
harmonica, a little bit of piano and violin, bass, lead and rhythm guitars. She lists Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Carpenters, Led Zeppelin, U2, Steven
Tyler, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Heber Bartolome, and Bamboo as
her musical influences because she admires “their passion for music and the way
it made an impact to the lives of the people in their generation.”
But Katy Perry not only serves as a musical influence but also a
style icon for Isabella.
“I like her because she 's unafraid to try out new
things and carry it with confidence. She balances being cute and girly but a
rocker chick at the same time.”

She described her personal style as vintage punk rock
preferring vintage loose tops, ripped skirts, plaids, checkered sleeves, faded
shorts and kick-ass Pony shoes. But she also admitted that she liked to be all dolled-up and dress really girly at times. Her rock and roll attitude, creativity, and pure talent are also the same reasons why the popular shoe brand Pony picked her to be its ambassador.
Pony marketing manager Donna Santos said “Isabel is unique and
extraordinary. Apart from being a very good actor, she’s also a very good
singer, musician (plays the guitar, drums and harmonica), composer and aspiring
illustrator. She’s not afraid to express who she really is and create her own
