Coca Cola's Concert ng Bayan for its 100 Years Celebration

Celebrating 100 years of Coke, Coca Cola Philippines staged Concert ng Bayan at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on Friday, March 23, 2012. The show was hosted by Coke President for Happiness Caloy, with Nvoyz and Koreen Medina.

The show featured top bands Itchyworms, Ebe Dancel, Callalilly, Sandwich, 6Cyclemind, Wolfgang, Gloc 9, Parokya ni Edgar, Someday Dream, Rico Blanco, Never the Strangers, Sponge Cola, Chicosci and Ely Buendia’s Pupil. Mr Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo plus international RnB sensation Craig David also performed that night.

Someday dream performed mellow tunes like Day Dreamer, Cornetto disk theme song.

Sarah Geronimo gave a memorable performance, singing “End of Time” and “Super Bass”.  She also sang Adele’s hit “Someone Like You” before surprising the crowd with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.

Coca Cola Concert ng Bayan was a huge success, everyone who attended the concert went home smiling and music still ringing in their ears, including me and hubby. :)
